Here at NGX Limited, we’re on a mission to be the world’s most sustainable natural graphite producer by exploring and developing mineral opportunities at our graphite projects in Malawi, Africa.
NGX Limited (“NGX”) is an ASX listed company (ASX:NGX). With a longstanding reputation and active involvement with their local communities, NGX holds a number of graphite projects in Malawi which may supply 10% of the world’s requirements for anode natural graphite by 2030.

Mr Ian Middlemas
Chairman | B.Com, CA
Mr Middlemas is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He worked for a large international Chartered Accounting firm before joining the Normandy Mining Group where he was a senior group executive for approximately 10 years. He has had extensive corporate and management experience, and is currently a director of a number of publicly listed companies in the resources sector.
Mr Matthew Syme
Executive Director | B.Com, CA
Mr Syme is a Chartered Accountant and an accomplished mining executive with over 30 years’ experience in senior management roles in Australia and overseas. He was a Manager in a major international Chartered Accounting firm before spending 3 years as an equities analyst in a large stockbroking firm. Mr Syme then continued a successful career as CFO, CEO or a director of a number of listed mining and exploration companies operating in a wide range of commodities and jurisdictions.
Mr Mark Pearce
Non-Executive Director | B.Bus, CA, FCIS, FFin
Mr Pearce is a Chartered Accountant and is currently a director of several listed companies that operate in the resources sector. He has had considerable experience in the formation and development of listed resource companies. Mr Pearce is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Mr Matthew Bungey
Non-Executive Director | B.Chem Eng (Hons), B. Sci, MBA
Mr Bungey is a Chemical Engineer with over 20 years experience in natural resources. He commenced his career as a Process Engineer with BHP at the Centre for Minerals Technology in the United States where he was responsible for process design and research into bacterial leaching of copper-sulphide ore. He then spent several years in the Marketing Division of BHP Billiton based in The Hague. Mr Bungey was most recently a Managing Director and Head of Mining and Metals with Barclays Investment Bank in London.

Ms Elizabeth (Lib) Matthews
Company Secretary | B.Com, CA, ACG, GAICD
Ms Matthews is a Chartered Accountant, Affiliate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia (Chartered Secretary qualifying) and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Director Course. She commenced her career at a large international accounting firm and has since been involved with exploration and development companies operating in the resources sector, including serving as Company Secretary of ASX listed Peregrine Gold Limited.
